The home champion secured his place by defeating Malaysian player Ameeshenraj Chandran in a decisive 3-0 victory, with Chandran retiring due to injury.
In the men’s semifinals, Zaman’s triumph was marked by commanding scores of 11-6, 11-2, and 6-4, wrapping up the match in 21 minutes. He will now face Egypt’s Kareem El Torkey, who defeated compatriot Ibrahim Elkabbani 3-1 in a 60-minute contest.
The tournament also saw the conclusion of the plate event semifinals, bringing favorable outcomes for Pakistan. Muhammad Ammad has progressed to the Men’s Plate Final, while Amna Fayyaz emerged victorious against fellow Pakistani Mariam Malik, securing a spot in the Women’s Plate Final with a 3-0 scoreline.
