Faisalabad, The Department of Clothing at the National Textile University has established a state-of-the-art CAD laboratory equipped with GGT (Accumark) software, a gold-standard tool for intelligent pattern design, grading, marker making, and production planning. The new facility allows 25 students to work on lab and project activities simultaneously.
According to National Textile University, GGT (Accumark) software is widely used in Pakistan’s garment industry, where it plays a critical role in optimizing operations and enhancing productivity. The installation of this software in the university’s CAD lab provides students with hands-on experience in using industry-standard technology, preparing them for careers in the textile and garment sector.
This new facility reflects the university’s commitment to providing advanced educational resources and equipping students with practical skills relevant to the textile industry.
