Majority of Pakistanis Report Single Accident in Past Six Months, Survey Finds

Islamabad: A recent survey by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan has revealed that the majority of Pakistanis who experienced accidents in the past six months reported such incidents only once or twice, with an average rate of one incident.

The survey, which sampled adult men and women from across the country, aimed to assess the frequency of accidents faced by individuals. When asked about their experiences, 69% of respondents indicated they had been involved in an accident once during the past half-year. Thirteen percent reported experiencing accidents twice, while 4% encountered three incidents. Fourteen percent of respondents reported facing more than three accidents.

The findings provide insights into the frequency of accidents among the surveyed population, suggesting that while accidents are not uncommon, they tend to be infrequent for most individuals.

The data was gathered from a nationally representative sample, offering a snapshot of accident occurrences across various regions in Pakistan. Gallup and Gilani Pakistan conducted the survey to better understand personal safety experiences within the country.
