LUMS Student Breaks New Ground with Admission to Yale’s MBA Program as Silver Scholar


Lahore, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) student, Haider Sultan, has been accepted as Pakistan’s first Silver Scholar for the MBA program at Yale University, marking a significant first for the nation. Sultan, part of the BSc 2024 cohort in Accounting and Finance at LUMS, represents a rare accomplishment, being one of only ten international students to secure a place in this highly competitive program. This achievement is further accentuated by his receipt of Yale’s Dean’s Scholarship.



According to Lahore University of Management Sciences, Sultan’s acceptance into the Yale MBA program is a testament to his exceptional academic and leadership abilities. The Silver Scholars Program at Yale is an accelerated MBA track that accepts outstanding recent college graduates, positioning them for rapid advancement in their chosen industries.
