Less than half Pakistanis (45%) seem to be optimistic about their household’s financial situation improving in the next six months: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, November 29, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, less than half Pakistanis (45%) seem to be optimistic about their household’s financial situation improving in the next six months.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question regarding, “What do you expect your household’s financial situation to be in next 6 months?” 6% responded that it will be much better, 39% said it will be better, 21% said there will be no change, 23% said it will be worse while 5% said it will be much worse while 6% said that they did not know.

The same question was also asked in the first quarter of the year and the responses were such that 6% said that their household economic situation will be much better in the next six months, 33% said it will be better, 28% responded that it will remain the same while 18% said it will be worse and 6% said that it will be much worse and 9% said that they did not know.

Question: “What do you expect your household’s financial situation to be in next 6 months?”
