Karachi, In the ongoing Inter College Ramadan T-20 Cup, two more night matches were held, witnessing victories for Government College 36-B Landhi and Government Jinnah College, marking their second wins in the tournament. The players Ahad Ali and Rizwan Khan stood out, earning the Player of the Match titles for their exceptional performances.
According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the tournament, held at various grounds, is a collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board. In the first match, Government College 36-B Landhi No.4 defeated Government College Asifabad by 54 runs at the IBA Karachi University Ground. Standout performances included Sufian’s 44 runs and Abdullah’s 36, contributing to their team’s total of 125/8. Ahad Ali’s bowling was pivotal, taking 4 wickets for 9 runs.
The second match saw Government Jinnah College overpowering Beacon House System by 9 wickets at the Eid Gah Ground. Rizwan Khan’s not-out score of 51 led his team to an easy victory, chasing down the target in just 12.1 overs.
The matches were attended by former cricketers Azam Khan and Mahmood Hamid, who presented the cash awards to the Players of the Match, celebrating the talents and achievements in this local cricket event.
