Islamia University of Bahawalpur to Showcase PhD Research in Artificial Intelligence

Bahawalpur: The Department of Artificial Intelligence at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) has scheduled an open defense for its PhD candidates, slated for September 20, 2024, at the Khwaja Ghulam Fareed Auditorium. According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan, the defense will feature presentations by PhD scholars Mubeen Shahroz and Urooj Akram, under the supervision of faculty from the Department of Artificial Intelligence. Shahroz’s research focuses on feature discrimination in canopy systems using hyperparameter optimization and ensemble learning techniques, while Akram explores IoT-based threat protection systems using ensemble learning techniques.
