Islamia University of Bahawalpur Hosts Women’s Technology College Delegation

Bahawalpur: A delegation from the Government College of Technology for Women, Bahawalpur, visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), exploring educational opportunities and facilities available at the university.

According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the visit was led by Principal Sumera Saliha and included meetings with key university staff, including Registrar Muhammad Shaji ur Rahman. During the visit, the registrar emphasized IUB’s position as a leading institution in the region, offering a range of BS, MPhil, and PhD programs that adhere to international standards.

The delegation, comprising students and faculty, was introduced to various academic programs, particularly pre-medical and pre-engineering tracks, by Deputy Registrar Fatima Junaid as part of IUB’s recent admission campaign. The visit also highlighted the university’s commitment to supporting female education in fields such as science, arts, social sciences, and professional studies, particularly appealing to students from South Punjab.

Accompanying the principal were Vice Principal Qurat ul Ain and Instructor Rabia Sadaf. The visit also included a tour of the Hakra Art Gallery on the Baghdad Campus, providing the students a glimpse into the cultural aspects of IUB.
