Instructions for vaccination of ITU students for prevention of Covid-19

Lahore, September 06, 2021 (PPI-OT):COVID-19 situation has become critical since the emergence of the Delta / Indian variant in Pakistan. Science has confirmed that the severity of COVID-19 infections reduces drastically with mass immunisations. To prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and its transmissible variants, ITU has made vaccination MANDATORY for ALL (students, faculty, and staff). NCOC has also directed MANDATORY vaccination of the students.

Students

All existing UG / PG students are required to get themselves vaccinated (at least 1st dose) by 13 Sep 2021. For the students of batch 2021, the deadline is 1st October, 2021. However, students under 18 years of age MUST get vaccinated immediately, within 45 days from the date of eligibility.
Once vaccinated, immunisation certificates shall be submitted to respective institutions.

Office of the students’ affairs will verify the vaccination certificates provided by the students.

Strict disciplinary action shall be taken on the production of fake vaccination certificates.

Those students who will not get vaccinated by 13 September 2021 (for existing batches) and 1st October 2021 (for newly admitted students), shall not be allowed to enter institute premises, attend classes, and use any on-campus facilities.
