IIUI Rector Ensures Improved Prayer Facilities at New Campus

Islamabad, In a dedicated effort to enhance prayer facilities, Professor Dr. Samina Malik, Rector of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), paid a visit to the prayer area at the university’s new campus in Sector H-10. Her visit was aimed at assessing and improving the conditions of the prayer area for the university community.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, during her visit, Dr. Samina Malik issued specific instructions to the Administration, Planning Department, and Security Officials to promptly address and resolve highlighted issues. She emphasized the need for immediate action and asked for a swift report detailing the improvements made.

The Rector highlighted that, ahead of the construction of the grand mosque – a significant project funded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz – it is crucial to ensure that the current prayer facilities are adequately equipped for all weather conditions, both in summer and winter.

Furthermore, Dr. Malik mentioned that a comprehensive strategy would be developed in collaboration with Dr. Hathal Hamoud Alotaibi, President of IIUI. This strategy will outline necessary measures to be implemented prior to the commencement of construction work for the Grand Mosque at the New Campus.

During her inspection, IIUI’s Rector received a detailed briefing from Mr. Inaam Ul Haq, Director of Administration, along with officials from the Planning, Estate Management, and Security departments. The visit signifies IIUI’s commitment to providing a conducive spiritual environment for its students and staff.
