Islamabad, The International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), hosted a dinner reception in honor of H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Imam e Kaaba. The event, organized by IIUI President Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, was a gesture of appreciation for Imam e Kaaba’s participation in the university’s conference on “Protection of Human Life in Shariah and Law.”
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, H.E. Professor Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended by IIUI management. He commended the efforts of the university’s Rector and President for organizing a successful conference on a significant topic. Imam e Kaaba recognized IIUI’s contributions to the Muslim world and its reputation for quality education and academic excellence. He noted that his visit to IIUI this time was specifically to join the conference, highlighting its importance.
During the event, the Imam e Kaaba reflected on his various meetings in Pakistan, including with President H.E. Dr. Arif Alvi, and discussed the shared visions and potential for strengthening bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He emphasized the deep affection Saudis have for Pakistanis, mentioning that his visit further reinforced his respect for the Pakistani people.
Caretaker Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi expressed his honor in accompanying Imam e Kaaba during his visit. He thanked the Imam e Kaaba for his participation in the conference and related activities.
Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, President of IIUI, expressed gratitude to Imam e Kaaba for his visit and to the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Nawaf Said Almalki, and Education Minister, H.E. Madad Ali Sindhi, for their continuous support. He outlined IIUI’s strategic plan, digitization efforts, and infrastructural initiatives, revealing that the university will fully adopt a campus management system by the next semester.
The dinner was also attended by IIUI Rector Prof. Dr. Samina Malik, Vice Presidents of the university, distinguished personalities, journalists, and diplomats, signifying the importance of the event and the guests in attendance.
