Islamabad, The International Islamic University (IIU) recently organized a workshop titled “Quantum, Artificial Intelligence and Technology: Shaping Future of Students,” aimed at acquainting students with the latest advancements in these rapidly evolving fields. Held in partnership with the Centre of Excellence for Quantum and AI Pakistan, the event featured discussions on the potential and challenges of integrating AI and quantum computing into future technologies.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the workshop provided an in-depth exploration of artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and their anticipated impact on various sectors. Dr. Zuhair Ahmed, a renowned figure in the field and credited with developing Pakistan’s first quantum computer, led the session, offering valuable insights into the fundamental concepts of AI and the cutting-edge trends shaping these domains.
During the event, participants engaged with topics such as the basics of quantum computing, AI applications, and the future trajectory of technological innovation. The workshop aimed to prepare students for the imminent shifts in the tech landscape, emphasizing the importance of staying informed and adaptable to thrive in a tech-driven future.
Dr. Ghufran Ali Khan, IIU’s student advisor for males, expressed gratitude to Dr. Ahmed for his contributions and underscored the significance of such educational initiatives.
