Half of Pakistanis (51%) expect their household savings to decrease in the next six months: Consumer Confidence Index Q3 2022 by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan and Dun and Bradstreet

Islamabad, March 30, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, half Pakistanis (51%) expect their household savings to decrease in the next six months.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Do you expect your household savings to increase, decrease or remain the same in the next six months?” In response, 2% said it will be a lot better, 17% said it will be better, 23% said there will be no change, 24% said that it will get worse while 27% said will get a lot worse and 6% said they did not know.
