Islamabad, September 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):The funerals in absentia for veteran Kashmiri leader was led by Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Director General, Dawah Academy. It was attended amongst others by President of Pakistan and Chancellor IIUI Dr. Arif Alvi, DG ISI Lt General Faiz Hameed, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain, AJK Premier Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Advisor National Security Moeed Yousaf, Rector IIUI Dr. Masoom Yasinzai, President IIUI, Dr. Hathal Homoud Alotaibi, other university high ups, teachers, students and many other renowned personalities.
The senior Kashmiri leader passed away in Srinagar, Occupied Kashmir, on Wednesday at the age of 92. On the occasion, thousands of people also prayed for the eternal peace. Funerals in absentia were offered for the veteran Kashmir liberation movement leader Syed Ali Gillani at Faisal Masjid.
