Rawalpindi, November 22, 2022 (PPI-OT):FJWU-USEFP Team Visits East-Central Punjab Province to deliver Faculty Professional Development Training. USEFP Project Team of Fatima Jinnah Women University delivered Faculty Professional Development Workshop at Government College Women University Faisalabad. The workshop organized by FJWU is funded under a US Government’s University Partnerships Grants Program executed by USEFP.
The project team includes Vice Chancellor Dr Saima Hamid as project advisor and trainer. Dr Aneela Maqsood (Associate Professor of Applied Psychology) is project PI and trainer. Other trainers include Dr Adeela Rehman (Co-PI, Dept of Sociology), Dr. Shazia Hashmat (Dept of Communication and Media Studies) and Dr. Shaheryar Naveed (Dept of Public Administration). The team includes allied partner trainers from United States of America including Prof. Dr Michael Hirsch, who is Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Huston-Tillotson University USA and Dr Sadaf Sajjad, who is Associate Professor of Psychology at Community College Austin.
The workshop titled “Pedagogic Research: Advancing Methods, Analysis, and Practices” focuses on innovative and emerging approaches in research with specific emphasis on grant writing, mix-method research, evidence-based implementation science, and global competencies of academicians and researchers. At host University, Registrar Asif Malik delivered welcome address to workshop participants. Dr Saima Hamid and Prof Dr Robina Farooq (T.I, Vice Chancellor Govt College Women University Faisalabad) appreciated the faculty professional development initiatives.
