Bahawalpur, December 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):Directorate of Public Relations, Islamia University Bahawalpur Fatima Jinnah Women Leadership Center Islamia University Bahawalpur organized a lecture series on women playing leadership roles in various fields. The purpose of this activity organized under the direction of Vice Chancellor Islamia University Bahawalpur Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob is to inform the women teachers, employees and students about the practical struggle and success of the most successful women in various fields of life.
In the first lecture series organized in this regard, Vice Chancellor Engineer Professor Dr. Athar Mehboob specially participated. On this occasion Assistant Commissioner Bahawalpur City Dr. Anam Fatima and Principal Government Technical College Dr. Sameera Saleh informed about their practical struggles, challenges, opportunities and strategies. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti said that Pakistani women are playing a significant role in every field and to empower women and highlight their leadership skills.
The lecture series and training programs conducted will lead to character building as well as capacity building. Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum, Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Dr. Azhar Hussain, Director, Alumni Affairs, Dr. Samar Fahad, Director, Enabling Center, Dr. Shanhira Mehmood, Assistant Professor, Kulsoom Akhtar, Lecturer, faculty members and students participated in the ceremony.
