Lahore, On the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s birth anniversary, Faryal Talpur, President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Women’s Wing, reiterated the party’s dedication to building a democratic and welfare state in line with Jinnah’s philosophy. In her message, she reflected on the founding father’s democratic principles and advocacy for human rights and religious freedom.
According to Pakistan People’s Party, Talpur highlighted Quaid-e-Azam’s multifaceted legacy as a democrat, enlightened leader, lawyer, and champion of human rights and religious freedom. She affirmed the PPP’s commitment to defending freedom of expression, political liberty, and religious freedom, aligning with Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan.
Talpur expressed concern over attempts by certain factions to impose their ideologies on the country and society under the pretense of religion, which she deemed contrary to Quaid-e-Azam’s philosophy. She emphasized that such efforts are unacceptable and stand in opposition to the foundational principles established by Jinnah.
