ISLAMABAD: Epilepsy is one of the most prevalent neurological disorders in Pakistan, affecting an estimated 2.2 to 2.5 million people, according to Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui, a renowned neurologist and epileptologist. Speaking at the 32nd National Neurology Conference, Dr. Siddiqui emphasized the urgent need for cost-effective treatment options and prompt emergency response mechanisms to address the condition effectively.
