Eggplant (7%), ladyfinger (5%) and bitter gourd (Karela) (5%) are among the least favourite vegetables of Pakistanis: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, July 12, 2021 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 7% cite eggplant as their least favourite vegetable.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the four provinces was asked the following question, “Please tell us, and is there any vegetable that is you’re least favourite?” In response to this question, 7% said ‘eggplant/brinjal’, 5% said ‘okra/ladyfinger’, 5% said ‘bitter gourd (karela)’, 3% said ‘pumpkin’, 3% said ‘round gourd/tinday’, 2% said ‘cauliflower’, 2% said ‘turnip’, 1% said ‘potato’, 1% said ‘taro (arvi)’, 1% said ‘spinach’ and 1% said ‘capsicum/bell pepper’.
