Lahore, Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research (PGSR) and Pro-Rector at the University of Lahore (UOL) Sargodha Campus, embodies the pinnacle of academic leadership and excellence. According to The University of Lahore, Dr. Sarwar’s journey began with his foundational education in FSc at Government Degree College Jhang, followed by a BSc (Hons) in Animal Husbandry from The University of Agriculture Faisalabad. His academic prowess led him to secure fully funded scholarships for MSc (Hons) and PhD degrees, culminating in a doctorate from The Ohio State University (OSU) Columbus, USA, in 1991. Throughout his career, Dr. Sarwar has supervised numerous PhD and MSc students, published over 400 works including six books, and received several prestigious awards acknowledging his contributions to the field of animal nutrition and academia.
In his dual roles at UOL, Dr. Sarwar has spearheaded initiatives to bolster the postgraduate studies and research system, streamline administrative processes, and foster academic excellence. His tenure as Pro-Rector since February 2022 has seen notable advancements in teaching methodologies, program introductions, and research output, significantly enhancing the campus’s educational quality.
