Bahawalpur, May 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Department of Economics the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized its first ever Alumni Reunion event in collaboration with the Directorate of Alumni Affairs. This networking event was attended by 100 alumni of the Economics Department who are working at various public and private institutes.
Dr. Abid Rasheed Gill Chairman Department of Economics and Dr. Azhar Hussain Director Alumni Affairs welcomed the alumni of the department on behalf of the Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob and highlighted the importance of these meet ups which not only re-alive university memories but open new avenues in the future prospects. The alumnus were briefed about the notable alumni and the recent developments in department through documentaries produced by the Economist Student Club.
