Islamabad: The University of Chitral’s Board of Studies (BOS) for the Sociology Department convened its third meeting on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the university’s Committee Room. The gathering brought together BOS constituents from the Sociology Department and representatives from external academic institutions.

The primary focus of the assembly was a thorough review of the curricula for the BS Sociology, PhD in Sociology, and BS Psychology programs. Participants contributed insights and expertise, addressing contemporary educational patterns, industry demands, and the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) policies for graduate and undergraduate studies.

Following extensive presentations and deliberations, the proposed academic blueprints received endorsement from the assembly. The endorsed curricula will now proceed to the subsequent level of evaluation for final ratification.
