Karachi, May 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): Under the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the meetings of members of the Sindh Assembly, Divisional and District officials of the Five Divisions of Sindh were held at Bilawal House Karachi, in which the situation after the Local Bodies elections and the political situation was reviewed.
According to a statement issued by Media Cell, Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman held meetings with Assembly Members, Presidents of Divisions and Districts, General Secretaries, Information Secretaries of Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad and Mirpurkhas Divisions.
The meeting was attended by the Central President of PPP Women’s Wing and MPA Faryal Talpur, PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Senator Waqar Mehdi, Senator Aajiz Dhamrah and Noman Sheikh. PPP Women’s Wing representatives Shaughta Jamani, Dr Mehreen Bhutto and Sadia Javed also participated.
The Divisional Presidents Aijaz Jakhrani, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah Rizvi, Pir Aftab Shah Jilani, Syed Bachal Shah, and Ziaul Hasan Lanjar were also present. During the meeting, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated the Assembly members and Party officials on the PPP’s historic success in the Local Body elections.
While talking to the members of the Assembly, he said: “On my behalf, I congratulate the democratic people of their respective constituencies and regions and convey the message of congratulations to all Jiyalas.”
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that after winning the election, it will be our mission to bring better and quality local government facilities to the people at their doorsteps. He instructed the Assembly members to ensure that the ongoing development works in their respective constituencies are completed on priority basis.
The PPP Chairman said that if the Jayalas work together with the people and with the same spirit, then the landslide success is sure in the next elections. He added that the current situation has provided Pakistan People’s Party a historic opportunity for the progress and prosperity. He said that the focus of our politics at this time is to end the internal divide from the society, restore the economy, elevate Pakistan in the world and provide relief to the people.
The Assembly members and Party officials who participated in the meeting congratulated the PPP Chairman on the big success in the Local Body elections and expressed full confidence in his leadership and said that the people have voted for the PPP manifesto and his vision, as the nation is with him. The members of the Assembly and Party officials also presented various suggestions in the meeting in the be betterment of people and the party in the province.
