Lahore, March 24, 2023 (PPI-OT): During his address to the graduates of the 13th Convocation as guest of honour, Mr Salim Ghauri, Founder and CEO NetSol Technologies, advised the graduates to take up leadership roles that will enable them to transform the country into a better place. “Every year, many students graduate from universities, but there are only a few who opt for leadership roles within society. Empowered with the relevant skills, you ought to take up roles that will decide the future of this country,” he said. “As you embark on your professional journey, adhere to sincerity and honesty,” he added.
Mr Ghauri, one of the best known figures from Pakistan’s IT industry due to his remarkable achievements as an IT entrepreneur, told the graduates to fight against all the bad practises that are retarding the progress of Pakistan. “As youth, you have a bigger role to play in cleaning up our country. As elders, we look up to you as the future of Pakistan. You decide where you want to take us,” he said. The CEO appreciated the parents present at the convocation for the sacrifices made in educating their children from elementary levels up to higher education qualifications. “You are the real stars of this day,” he said with reference to all parents.
