Islamabad, A delegation from Cadet College Mastung, Balochistan, led by Prof. Dr. Abdul Waheed Pirkani, visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Monday. The students met with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan, Director (Academics and Examinations) of IIUI, at the Council Hall in the Administration Block for an enriching educational exchange.
According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the visit was part of the Cadet College’s annual study trip across Pakistan, aimed at broadening the cadets’ vision and understanding. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan briefed the delegation on IIUI’s vision, emphasizing the role of education in bringing about significant change and the importance of youth as a valuable asset for Pakistan’s development.
During the meeting, Dr. Khan presented a comprehensive overview of the university’s infrastructure, faculties at the New Campus, academic programs, research contributions, and the diverse community of foreign faculty members and students. The delegation received in-depth information about all faculties, departments, constituent units, and centers of IIUI.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khan shared details about the developmental steps undertaken by IIUI President H.E. Dr. Hamoud Alotaibi, including the vision for the International Islamic University’s Strategic Plan (2022-2026).
The officials from Cadet College Mastung expressed their gratitude to the IIUI administration for organizing this informative visit. Dr. Muhammad Khan highlighted that students are crucial for the country’s development and mentioned IIUI’s commitment to encouraging student induction from across the country on an open merit basis.
Additionally, the delegation toured the Students Facilitation Center and the recently inaugurated New Academic Block, exploring the services provided to students at IIUI.
