Larkana, At an Iftar dinner in Naudero, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called for responsible parliamentary conduct and collaboration to address national challenges, signaling a push for political unity and effective governance.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the PPP Chairman, speaking to the workers, citizens, and dignitaries of constituencies NA-194 and PS-11, emphasized the potential for resolving many of the populace’s issues through cooperation between the opposition and the government. Zardari pointed out the necessity of justice delivery mechanisms like the National Charter of Reconciliation, National Charter of Economy, and judicial reforms.
He highlighted the economic and security challenges facing Pakistan, referencing the recent general elections’ results as a mandate for collaborative effort among the political parties. Zardari commended the electorate’s decision, which avoided giving a clear majority to any party, interpreting it as a call for collective action and modernization efforts across Pakistan.
The Chairman appreciated the support for PPP in the recent elections, noting President Asif Ali Zardari’s re-election, which he termed a historic event. He underscored PPP’s role in national unity and announced an upcoming public gathering at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh to honor the death anniversary of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The dinner was attended by notable PPP figures, including PPP Women Wing President Faryal Talpur, Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, and others, highlighting the party’s solidarity and commitment to advancing its political and social objectives in Pakistan.
