Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Reflects on May 12 Carnage, Advocates for Political Unity

Karachi, On the anniversary of the May 12, 2007, incidents, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has spoken out about the lasting impact of political violence and the need for unity in Pakistani politics. Zardari emphasized the importance of learning from the past to prevent further political strife and division.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Zardari expressed condolences and paid tribute to the PPP workers and activists from other parties who were killed or harmed during the clashes on May 12, 2007. He praised their dedication to democratic principles and their efforts toward a democratic Pakistan. The PPP Chairman highlighted the dire consequences of politics fueled by stubbornness and violence, noting that such actions lead to division and suffering.
