Beacon House System and Govt National College Triumph in Inter College Ramadan T-20 Cup Matches

Karachi, In the ongoing Inter College Ramadan T-20 Cup, Beacon House System and Government National College emerged victorious in their respective night matches, adding excitement and competitive spirit to the tournament. Organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi in collaboration with the Pakistan Cricket Board, the event showcased the talents of young cricketers under the floodlights of Karachi’s cricket grounds.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, Beacon House System secured a win against Happy Palace Green by 10 runs at the Eid Gah Ground Nazimabad. Beacon House posted a competitive score of 144/7 in their 20 overs, with Yafai Ali Khan leading the charge with an unbeaten 56 runs, earning him the Man of the Match award and a prize of Rs.5000. Happy Palace Green, in response, was bowled out for 134 in 29.1 overs despite a fighting 32 from Muhammad Dilawar Malik.

In another closely contested match, Government National College defeated Government College Asifabad by 10 runs at the IBA Karachi University Ground. Abdul Rafay’s brilliant 57 and Daniyal Junaid’s quickfire 49 propelled their team to a total of 155/7. Despite Ishaq’s valiant 69, Government College Asifabad fell short, managing 145/9 in their 20 overs. Rafay, for his all-round performance, was adjudged Man of the Match, receiving a cash award of Rs.5000 from former Test cricketer Tauseef Ahmed.
