Lahore, In a move to aid flood-impacted regions, Bank Alfalah has joined hands with the Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN) to establish a primary healthcare facility in District Thatta, Sindh, an area severely affected by recent floods.



According to The Indus Hospital, the memorandum of understanding between the two entities outlines Bank Alfalah’s commitment to provide PKR 25 million in support of the capital expenses needed for the new healthcare establishment in Makli. The agreement underscores the significant role the corporate sector can play in addressing the healthcare needs of communities in crisis.



At the signing ceremony, Atif Bajwa, CEO of Bank Alfalah, expressed pride in the bank’s partnership with IHHN and reiterated the institution’s commitment to humanitarian causes. He emphasized the bank’s dedication to community support, particularly in disaster-stricken areas.



Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, President of IHHN, also highlighted the crucial nature of the partnership, stating that it represents a unified effort to provide immediate medical assistance to the flood victims of District Thatta.
