Karachi, In a significant political development, Abidullah Yousufzai, the President of the Awami National Party (ANP) for Peshawar metropolitan city, has announced his decision to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) after a meeting with the party’s President and Former President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, during the meeting in Islamabad, which was also attended by Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha, Shuja Khan, and Ziaullah Afridi, President Zardari welcomed Abidullah Yousafzai into the PPP. Yousafzai expressed his gratitude to Zardari for his contributions to the Pakhtun community, stating, “Mr. President, you have given identity to the Pakhtun people and for that every Pakhtun is grateful to you.”

This move marks a significant shift in the political landscape of Peshawar and reflects the ongoing dynamics within Pakistani politics.
