According to International Cricket Council, the Qualifier will see teams divided into two groups, with the top contenders from each group advancing to the semi-finals on 5 May. The victors of these matches will secure their participation in the World Cup alongside prominent cricketing nations. The tournament underscores the growing enthusiasm and competitive spirit in women’s cricket, following the successful ICC Women’s T20 World Cup held last year in South Africa. The warm-up matches are slated for 21 and 23 April, with the main event unfolding shortly after.

Group A includes Scotland, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Uganda, and the USA, while Group B consists of Ireland, Netherlands, UAE, Vanuatu, and Zimbabwe.
