Political Stability Urged as Key to Pakistan’s Economic Recovery, Says PTI’s Rizwan Niazi

KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter emphasized the necessity of immediate political stability to achieve sustainable economic recovery, warning that continued political uncertainty could hinder progress. According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Rizwan Niazi, the PTI Sindh Additional General Secretary, highlighted that the ongoing political clampdown is eroding investor confidence and fueling public discontent, making political stability an urgent national priority.

Mr. Niazi stressed that economic recovery cannot rely on rhetoric and superficial measures but requires coherent and credible economic policies to restore the trust of trade, industrial, and business communities. He pointed to the challenges faced by ordinary citizens, such as inflation and unemployment, and asserted that economic frameworks should focus on providing relief, creating jobs, and improving living standards.

He further linked economic revival to adherence to constitutional supremacy, rule of law, and democratic values, advocating for transparent governance and political resolutions within constitutional limits. Mr. Niazi called for constructive dialogue among political stakeholders to restore mutual trust and respect for the public mandate.

Concluding his remarks, Mr. Niazi urged prioritizing national interest by fostering political stability, reviving investor sentiment, and focusing on public relief, asserting that genuine political stability is essential for sustainable economic progress.
