Lahore: The Centre for Public Policy and Governance (CPPG) hosted participants from the Pakistan Administrative Service's (PAS) 16th Domain Specific Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC) for a session on policy research and policy brief writing. The event on October 5 aimed to enhance the research and policy-writing skills of mid-career civil servants.
According to Forman Christian College, the session was led by Dr. Noel Khokhar, Director of CPPG, who delivered a lecture on structuring research findings into evidence-based policy recommendations. Participants engaged in group discussions with research advisors, including Ms. Ayesha Saddiqua, Dr. Abdullah Khoso, Dr. Wasif Azeem, and Dr. Muhammad Rovidad, to refine their research topics and develop policy briefs.
The Director of the Pakistan Administrative Service attended the session, expressing appreciation for CPPG's role in supporting the development of civil servants. This collaboration between CPPG and the Civil Services Academy highlights ongoing efforts to enhance the professional capabilities of PAS members through targeted training and mentorship.
