Multan: The Pakistan Cricket Board has unveiled the panel of match officials for the National Champions Cup 2026-27, scheduled to occur from August 11 to August 18 at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The tournament will feature seven 50-over matches, culminating in the final on Tuesday, August 18.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, former Test cricketer Ali Naqvi and Kamran Chaudhary will lead the playing control teams throughout the four-team competition. Both Naqvi and Chaudhary are members of the ICC International Panel of Match Referees. The umpiring duties will be handled by Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Khan Aafreedi, Nasir Hussain, and Rashid Riaz Waqar from the ICC International Panel of Umpires, alongside Abdul Moqeet, Syed Imtiaz Iqbal, Tariq Rasheed, and Zulfiqar Jan from the PCB National Elite Panel of Umpires.
In the opening match on Tuesday, August 11, Asif Yaqoob and Zulfiqar Jan will serve as the on-field umpires, with Faisal Khan Aafreedi acting as the third umpire and Imtiaz Iqbal as the fourth umpire. For the final match, Ali Naqvi will lead a team that includes on-field umpires Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz, third umpire Faisal Khan Aafreedi, and fourth umpire Nasir Hussain.
