Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced firm disciplinary measures against former Pakistan cricketers who participated in the 20th Asian Legends League 2026 in Zambia, an event not sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) or the Zambia Cricket Union (ZCU).

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the ICC classifies this league as an unsanctioned cricket event, requiring all foreign players to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective home boards. The regulations mandate Member Boards to act against players who engage in such unsanctioned events, with potential repercussions for non-compliance.

As part of its disciplinary actions, the PCB will impose a two-year ban on the issuance of NOCs for participation in approved overseas cricket leagues or events. Additionally, individuals involved will be ineligible for any roles within the PCB or the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) for the same duration.

The PCB emphasized its commitment to the ICC Regulations and the integrity of the game, urging all current and former players to secure the necessary approvals before participating in overseas events. The Board remains aligned with the ICC and other Member Boards to uphold the international regulatory framework of cricket.
