Bank of Punjab CEO Shares Survival Story and Insights at Dow University

Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences hosted a session with Zafar Masud, President and CEO of the Bank of Punjab, who shared his experiences as one of the two survivors of the PIA Flight 8303 crash in May 2020. Masud discussed themes of resilience and leadership, drawing from his journey of survival and recovery.

According to Dow University of Health Sciences, Masud's narrative provided students with valuable insights into overcoming challenges and finding purpose. He also introduced his book, "Seat 1C: A Survivor's Tale of Hope, Resilience, and Renewal." Attendees had the opportunity to purchase signed copies, enhancing the interactive experience.

During his visit, Masud toured the university's Trauma Center and Comprehensive Cancer Care Unit, gaining a deeper understanding of the institution's healthcare and educational initiatives. The session was part of DUHS's efforts to integrate leadership and resilience into its educational framework.
