University of Sargodha Celebrates Digital Skills Graduates with e-Rozgaar Programme

SARGODHA: More than 300 students celebrated their graduation from the e-Rozgaar Programme at the University of Sargodha, marking a significant milestone in a digital skills training initiative aimed at equipping young individuals with the tools necessary for successful online freelancing and entrepreneurship. Held at the Malik Feroz Khan Noon Business School, the graduation ceremony awarded certificates to participants who completed training in high-demand digital skills.

According to University of Sargodha, the event was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, who emphasized the importance of digital competence in today's economy. He stated that the university is dedicated to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, with a focus on producing job creators. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences, highlighted the programme's effectiveness in preparing students for the global freelance marketplace, noting its alignment with current technological and industry trends.

Manager of the e-Rozgaar Centre, Malik Kaleem Ullah, mentioned that over 4,000 students have graduated from 15 batches, with graduates earning an average monthly income exceeding Rs100,000. He also noted that the latest batch collectively generated more than Rs30 million during their training. Graduates shared their success stories, underscoring the programme's impact on their financial independence and career development.
