Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in Lahore held a walk and observed a minute of silence to mark Youm-e-Istehsal, demonstrating solidarity with the residents of Occupied Kashmir. The event was led by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Masood Rabbani and included participation from various faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the walk was joined by Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr. Kamran Ashraf, Dean Faculty of Bio-sciences Prof Dr. Habib-ur-Rehman, and Registrar Sajjad Hyder. Participants expressed support for the Kashmiri people and opposition to the Indian occupation through slogans. The procession began at the Vice-Chancellor's office and concluded in front of the main lawn of the City Campus, having traversed a designated route. Similar activities were reportedly carried out across all UVAS campuses.
