Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his condolences over the death of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar. He extended his sympathies to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the government, and the people of Qatar.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari praised the late Sheikh Hamad's leadership and contributions to Qatar's development and regional peace. He prayed for the departed soul and offered support to the grieving family and nation.
