University of the Punjab Grants Concession to Azad Jammu & Kashmir Students for Admission Test

LAHORE: In a recent meeting chaired by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahmood Saleem, the University of the Punjab's Admission Committee decided to offer a special concession for undergraduate applicants from Azad Jammu & Kashmir. This concession allows these students, who missed the initial admission test due to exceptional circumstances, to participate in a second test without incurring an additional fee.

According to University of the Punjab, the committee discussed the ongoing undergraduate admission process and emphasized the importance of completing admission-related activities on time. They instructed relevant offices to ensure smooth coordination throughout the process. Additionally, to improve admissions for international students, a sub-committee was established to develop comprehensive procedures and Standard Operating Procedures for admissions to foreign reserved seats. The committee also decided that applicants applying under the reserved quota for Children of Overseas Pakistanis would be exempt from the University Pre-Admission Entry Test, except in programs where such tests are mandated by accreditation councils.
