Anatomy Exhibition at CoN KHINAMS Highlights Integration of Basic Sciences and Nursing Practice

Karachi: The College of Nursing (CoN) at KHINAMS held an Anatomy and Physiology exhibition on June 22, 2026, showcasing the integration of basic sciences with clinical nursing practice. Led by Assistant Professor Ms. Somia Saghir, the event aimed to demonstrate how anatomical and physiological concepts inform patient care and clinical decision-making.

According to National University of Medical Sciences, the exhibition featured projects by BSN-I students covering various body systems, including the circulatory, respiratory, and nervous systems. The event drew healthcare professionals from multiple disciplines and included interactive activities. Judges Dr. Ayesha Rauf and Dr. Tayyab evaluated the projects, focusing on the students' ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application.

Brigadier (Retired) Ambreen Suhail, Chief Operating Officer of KHINAMS, inspected the exhibits and interacted with students, commending their efforts and encouraging further engagement in interactive learning. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to winning teams by Brig. Suhail and the judges.

The exhibition highlighted the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in nursing education, enhancing students' clinical reasoning and professional readiness through the integration of scientific knowledge with nursing practice.
