KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has highlighted the importance of population planning as a matter of social justice and sustainable development. He stated that the strength of a nation is determined not by its population size but by how effectively it nurtures, educates, empowers, and protects its citizens.
According to a press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in his message for World Population Day on July 11, emphasized that Pakistan cannot sustain unchecked population growth. He urged the adoption of a comprehensive, people-centered population planning strategy as a national priority. He stressed that enhancing access to quality healthcare, education, women's empowerment, and employment opportunities could turn Pakistan's growing population into a national asset.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated that the PPP has consistently believed in investing in people as the path to national progress and prosperity. Echoing the vision of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, he advocated for inclusive public policies that consider every citizen. He expressed hope that World Population Day would strengthen the nation's commitment to building a Pakistan where every individual can live with dignity and contribute to society.
