KARACHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has extended New Year greetings to the people of Pakistan, expressing hope for peace, reconciliation, political stability, and shared prosperity in 2026.
In a message released by the Media Cell at Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman reflected on the challenges of the past year while highlighting the unity and resilience demonstrated by Pakistan. He particularly commended the Pakistani armed forces for their role in defeating the enemy during the Indo-Pak conflict in May 2025, asserting that this victory safeguarded national sovereignty and reinforced the bond between the people and their defenders.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that the New Year should be devoted to dialogue, reconciliation, and healing, as political stability is essential for economic recovery, development, and public welfare. He underscored that nations progress when differences are resolved through democratic institutions.
Reaffirming the PPP’s commitment to democracy, constitutional supremacy, and social justice, the Chairman stated that the party remains dedicated to the vision of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, a vision centered on people’s power, dignity, and equality.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed confidence that through unity and collective resolve, Pakistan can achieve a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive future. He concluded his message by wishing the nation a hopeful New Year 2026.
