University of Chitral Partners with Foundation to Empower Students for Academic Growth

Chitral: The University of Chitral has entered a strategic partnership with the Foundation to Empower Students (FES) aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and fostering student development. The agreement, formalized on December 23, 2025, seeks to expand academic cooperation, skill development, and international exposure for students and faculty.

In a bid to bolster academic resources and student capabilities, the MoU outlines provisions for internships, online diplomas, and certification programs facilitated by FES. These initiatives aim to enrich professional and digital skills among the University of Chitral’s student body.

Central to the agreement is the establishment of a Lincoln Corner at the university, supported by FES and in collaboration with the American Embassy. This facility is designed to act as a focal point for cultural exchange, leadership development, and educational opportunities, providing students access to U.S.-based scholarships and programs.

The signing ceremony of the MoU featured key figures, including Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral, and Mrs. Samina Hussain, Program Head of FES. Dr. Irshad, Additional Registrar of the university, was also in attendance, underscoring the significance of this collaborative effort.
