University of Chitral Hosts MPhil Thesis Defense on Eco-Feminism

CHITRAL: An MPhil thesis defense took place at the University of Chitral on December 5, featuring the research of Ms. Hina Binti Wali from the Department of English. The event, held in the university’s Conference Room, showcased her thesis titled “Feminizing Nature: An Eco-Feminist Study of Arundhati Roy’s A God of Small Things.”

The thesis defense was supervised by Dr. Kifayatullah, with Dr. Aziz Ahmad, an Associate Professor from the Department of English at the University of Malakand, serving as the external examiner.

Ms. Wali’s study presented an eco-feminist analysis of Arundhati Roy’s novel, exploring the connections between nature and gendered oppression within sociocultural contexts.
