Karachi: Greenwich University, in collaboration with Aga Khan University, hosted a screening of “A Colour of Smog,” an episode from the documentary series “Voices from the Roof of the World.” This series focuses on climate and conservation stories from the mountain regions of Central and South Asia. The featured episode delves into the severe air pollution crisis in Lahore, highlighting its impact on daily life, health, and the urban community’s future.
Attendees at the event were treated to an exclusive preview of the upcoming Season 4 trailer. This preview offered a glimpse into the new stories set to be released soon. As “Voices from the Roof of the World” continues to expand its reach, the series aims to educate and inspire students by presenting real stories that foster critical thinking and conversations about climate change.
The program also included an interactive Q and A session with Andrew Tkach, Executive Producer of the documentary series and an eight-time Emmy Award-winning filmmaker. Tkach provided insights into how documentary storytelling can play a crucial role in enhancing climate awareness.
