PCB Umpiring Course Wraps Up in Faisalabad

Faisalabad: The Pakistan Cricket Board’s Level-I Umpiring course has successfully concluded at the High-Performance Centre in Faisalabad, attracting participants from the Faisalabad and Sialkot regions. The course, which ran from September 29 to October 2, aimed to integrate amateur umpires into the professional officiating circuit at district and regional levels.

The program hosted 61 participants who engaged in lectures and theory testing. The sessions were led by ICC Elite Panel Umpire Ahsan Raza, alongside Senior Manager of Umpires and Referees Bilal Qureshi, and Manager of Umpires and Referees Abdul Hameed.

The course is designed to prepare umpires for officiating duties in local matches. Those who excel in the Level-I course will have the opportunity to advance to the Level-II Umpiring course in the future.
