Islamabad: Senator Hafiz Abdul Kareem Bakhsh, leader of Markazi Jamiat-e-Ahle Hadees, visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) to discuss cooperation with the institution’s president, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed. Their meeting centered on bolstering academic ties, advancing Islamic principles, and enhancing education’s contribution to national progress and interfaith understanding.
The Senator praised IIUI’s dedication to high-quality, values-based education. Professor Alahmed stressed the importance of involving religious scholars in promoting societal harmony and growth.
The two leaders agreed to investigate collaborative research projects, community programs, and cooperative ventures to support IIUI’s objective of globally impactful, balanced Islamic scholarship.
