Haripur: The University of Haripur has advanced its ongoing 10-Day Faculty Development Training Program, with its sixth session centered on “Psychological Wellbeing and Self-Care.” The program, titled “Empowering Educators: Enhancing Professionalism, Pedagogy, and Research in Higher Education,” is organized by the Human Resource Development Cell under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Aziz Ullah.
Dr. Tamkeen Saleem from Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University, Islamabad, led the session, highlighting the importance of mental health and self-care for educators. She emphasized the direct impact of faculty wellbeing on teaching effectiveness, research productivity, and professional satisfaction. Strategies discussed included stress management, work-life balance, resilience cultivation, along with mindfulness and self-reflection.
The training program will proceed with sessions aimed at advanced pedagogy, research skills, and leadership, underscoring the University’s dedication to faculty development and capacity enhancement.
