Women University Mardan Launches “Each One, Plant One” Campaign
Islamabad: Women University Mardan has initiated an environmental sustainability project, the “Each One, Plant One” endeavor, at its recently established campus. This program aligns with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Razia Sultana’s objective of fostering a healthier and more environmentally conscious atmosphere.
University instructors and administrative personnel actively engaged in the project by planting saplings throughout the grounds. This undertaking aims to improve the campus’s aesthetic appeal while contributing to ecological protection and climate change mitigation.
Prof. Sultana underscored the significance of such plantation programs in addressing climate change and promoting environmentally sound practices. She urged every member of the university community to assume responsibility for the care of the newly planted trees.
The project signifies the university’s continued commitment to community engagement, environmental responsibility, and establishing a sustainable future.
